Comfort bags for Southeast Michigan children coming to The Discovery Center hands-on museum

The Discovery Center children’s museum of Macomb announces partnership with local nonprofit to supply life-impacting comfort bags for underserved children in Southeast Michigan.

Susie Q’s Kids was started in honor of Susan McBride (Susie Q), a special young lady who loved kids, giving back, and living everyday to it’s fullest.

After a lifetime of medical issues, she succumbed to an infection in 2017 that ended her short life at 31 years of age. She was a treasure that touched the lives of all she met with her smile, her positivity, and her unfailing desire to assist others. Susie made a difference in the lives of those she touched.

Through this program, we can keep her vision alive! Join us as we help those in need of assistance with comfort items, inspirational support, and by letting them know that people like YOU, your FAMILY and your EMPLOYEES care.

Susie Q’s Kids is committed to aiding emotionally, physically, and mentally challenged children and young adults. All kids need comfort. Imagine the smile as the kids we help find comfort in the contents of our special bags:

  • Foster kids adapt to their new life
  • Sick kids battle illness with a smile
  • Kids in shelters find safety and consistency
  • Grieving kids cope with loss and grief
  • Trafficked and bullied kids find allies
  • Suicidal kids find hope to continue on

Your business can help children through the distribution of our life-impacting comfort bags provided to the cause of your choice.
