Dear Discovery Center Guests and Members,

The health and safety of our community members are of the greatest importance to us. Due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and in response to Gov. Whitmer’s recent declaration of a state of emergency for Michigan and advisories from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization, the Discovery Center Center is taking the following actions effective Monday, March 16th, 2020:

• Suspension of in-person meetings with phone or telecommunications preferred
• Cancelation of planned special events and the center’s grand opening event
• Postponement of building renovations and exhibit installations
